The Synthes Hybrid Fixator is a ring and wire based external fixator that forms a construct intended for stabilization of complex proximal and/or distal tibial fractures. It is designed for use with the Synthes Large External Fixator System and in conjunction with other fixation methods.

Indications for Use

The Synthes Hybrid External Fixator System is indicated for fixation of proximal and/or distal tibia fractures, with or without extension into the tibial shaft.

Features & Benefits

Adjustable Wire/Pin Clamps

  • Can be positioned anywhere along the ring for maximum adjustability
  • Secures wires or Schanz screws to the ring

Ring-to-Rod Clamps

  • Secure the ring construct to the rods used for a Large External Fixator construct

3/4 Rings

  • 115 mm, 140 mm, 165 mm, and 205 mm diameters to allow proper fit for patient anatomy and fracture site
  • 3/4 ring sections allow knee motion

Spade-point Wires

  • 1.8 mm and 2.0 mm options, with and without reduction 'olive'
  • Compatible with Adjustable Wire/Pin Clamps

Compatible with Synthes Large External Fixator System
