The Synthes 2.7 mm/3.5 mm Variable Angle LCP® Anterior Clavicle Plates is part of the modular clavicle plate system.   Seven different clavicle plate designs are available; The variety of plates provides flexibility to surgeons allowing them to best accommodate patients anatomy and fracture patterns.

  • 2.7mm/ 3.5mm VA-LCP® Lateral Anterior Clavicle Plate (7, 9, 10 hole)
  • 3.5mm LCP® Superior Clavicle Plate (6, 7, and 8 hole)
  • 3.5mm LCP® Superior Clavicle Plate with lateral extension (6, 7, and 8 hole)
  • 3.5mm LC® Superior Anterior Clavicle Plate (6, 7, and 8 hole)
  • 3.5mm LCP® Superior Anterior Clavicle Plate with lateral extension (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8)
  • 3.5mm LCP® Medial Anterior Clavicle Plate (6, 7, and 8 hole)
  • 3.5mm LCP® Clavicle Hook Plates (4, 5, 6, 7 hole)  are also available

Indications for Use

Fixation of fractures, malunions, nonunions, and osteotomies of the clavicle in adults and in both adolescents (12–18 years) and transitional adolescents (18–21 years), in which the clavicular growth plates have fused or in which the growth plates will not be crossed by the plate system.

  • Variable angle locking holes provide better screw targeting for various fracture patterns.
  • Variable angle locking holes feature four columns of threads to provide four points of threaded locking between the plate and the variable angle locking screw, forming a fixed-angle construct at the desired orientation.
  • Housed in a new modular graphic case designed specifically to accommodate all three plate families (anterior, superior and superior anterior clavicle plates), compatible screws and the specific clavicle instruments.
