KINCISE™ Surgical Automated System

Division: Hip
Category: Hip Reconstruction

The KINCISE™ Surgical Automated System is designed to replace the handheld mallet traditionally used in Total Hip Arthroplasty (THA). During THA surgery, this automated technology helps surgeons deliver constant, consistent energy and automates bone preparation, implant positioning and assembly.

66.1% of arthroplasty surgeons have experienced a work-related injury at some point in their career, and 31% of these surgeons required surgery themselves to treat the injury1. Because the KINCISE System is designed to eliminate the need for repeated mallet use, there may be less surgeon fatigue and potentially less work-related injuries in the operating room (OR).

The KINCISE System is compatible only with DePuy Synthes Hip Systems. Adapters are available for a variety of surgical techniques, including ANTERIOR ADVANTAGE™ and ANTERIOR ADVANTAGE™ MATTA METHOD™, branded solutions for Anterior Approach from DePuy Synthes.

KINCISE Surgical Automated System - Controlled & constant impaction Controlled and consistent impaction The KINCISE System delivers consistent energy, which is designed to help reduce variabilities experienced with traditional mallets. The KINCISE System eliminates repetitive mallet swings, which may reduce the risk of work-related injury.1
KINCISE Surgical Automated System - Forward & reverse application Forward and reverse application The KINCISE System is designed to deliver both forward and reverse impaction forces, sensing the surgeon’s direction.
KINCISE Surgical Automated System - Battery-powered Battery-powered The KINCISE System is powered by a lithium-ion battery and is cordless, providing flexibility of movement while in the OR.
